About
We are a family company providing mechanical machining services, based in Oborniki Wlkp. We mainly deal with CNC turning. But what is CNC turning?
There are many technological processes used by modern industry. Machining processes are very important – they consist of mechanical removal of excess material (shaft, plate, forging, casting) using cutting tools on specially designed machine tools. Machining processes can be divided into various sub-processes, taking into account the basic criterion of process kinematics – in the basic division, these are milling, turning, drilling and threading.
- Milling involves machining surfaces using a driven rotary tool.
- Turning involves machining bars using static tools, the only movement of which is feed – the cutting movement comes from the rotation of machine tool spindle, in which the processed detail is mounted
Threading and drilling are additional processes that can be performed on both milling machines and most modern lathes.
At Revos, we deal with CNC turning. We have a machine park on which we can process almost all types of details in a given size range. We have rigid, heavy lathes for processing larger details, we have lathes for making small-batch and simple parts, and we also have the ability to efficiently turn serial details on twin-turret CNC lathes.
